It has been used widely for factories, poultry farms, mills, power stations, warehouses and chemical plants. Aluminium does not contaminate, making it most suitable for food and pharmaceutical industries. Aluminium, being classified as a non-combustible material and rated Class 0, is accepted for roof covering without reservation, being rated as EXT.SAA to BS 476 Part3: 1958
